Would you rather watch marine life through public binoculars, or have a birdsong player to help you identify what you hear at the Lagoon?
At Colwood City Hall on Saturday, Oct. 17, children can take part in the city's Kids Vote. Their ballot asks which of two additions they would like to see on the waterfront: public binoculars for watching marine life, or a birdsong player to help identify the Lagoon's migratory birds.
Children use the waterfront, too. We like seeing them asked what belongs there.
The city's election page lists Kids Vote alongside general voting from 8am to 8pm at City Hall, 3300 Wishart Road.
