You can use any advance voting place. But individual locations do not necessarily open on every advance-voting day, so check before leaving home.
Find a polling place
Use Elections BC's Where to Vote finder with your address. For nearby options, select Nearest to Me; check the location's own dates and hours rather than assuming a place open earlier in the week is still available.
If you wait until final voting day, Saturday, October 24, voting runs from 8am to 8pm Pacific time. Elections BC says voters have an assigned location that day, shown on their Where to Vote card or in the finder.
Bring identification
Elections BC's identification guide lists three routes. One is a BC driver's licence or another listed single piece of ID. Another is two accepted pieces, both showing your name, with at least one showing your current address.
Vouching is also available under specific conditions. Read the guide or call Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683 if your documents do not fit the usual options. Do not assume a lack of photo ID rules you out.
Returning a mail ballot?
Elections BC must receive completed packages by 8pm Pacific time on October 24. Its guide lists drop-off at any district electoral office or voting place as alternatives to mailing. Online and phone requests for packages have closed.
